Traveller's Diarrhoea

Start a diagnosis

Traveller's diarrhoea is most commonly caused by food or water contaminated with bacteria. The highest risk areas include the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America and Asia.

Symptoms usually last 3 to 4 days and tend to be mild for most people. Usually, antibiotics are not necessary but may be beneficial in certain circumstances.

We can provide Ciprofloxacin as a standby treatment for Traveller's Diarrhoea.
